| HSS Lift & Shift has taken delivery of the first six Nu-Star Power Pusher® units as part of an exclusive agreement to make the equipment available for short-term hire throughout the UK.
The Power Pusher is a pedestrian operated, battery powered, tug unit designed to push rolling loads up to 15,000Kg in weight.
Over 23,000 Power Pushers have been sold in the U.S.A. since 1964, predominantly in the Automotive and Material Handling sectors, for moving a wide range of wheeled loads e.g. Cars, Vans, Lorries, Trains, etc. |
The unit enables a single operator to safely push large heavy wheeled loads that would traditionally require the use of larger, more expensive tractor-type units to move them. Safety and Productivity are the key benefits for customers to use the Power Pusher in such circumstances.
The Power Pusher, and it's associated range of pedestrian operated electric tugs, has been manufactured in the UK since 2001 and are now being used in industries ranging from Paper, Glass and Concrete to Railways, Pre-Fabricated Buildings, Food and Automobiles.
